Vehicle Editor not allowing saving of vehicles

What Happened​

Game not allowing the saving of vessels within the editor, I opened the menu and hit new. The game didn't allow the save stating "cannot create new vehicle save without existing vehicle"

What Was Expected​

I click the 'new' button and it saves the vehicle I'm currently working on

Reproduction Steps​

1. Open Vehicle Editor
2. Make a vehicle or place parts
3. Press F7 or use the menu to save the vehicle, by hitting the 'new button'

Reproduced. It seems to be dependent on being focused on a vehicle when the editor opens. While following Earth I get this but not when following a default vehicle.

I am also having the same issue. I was unable to save even when focused on a default vehicle.

Morrow (Developer) suggested. "Right click on the root part and hit save for now. I think the save menu's button is broken again." I confirmed this works on this build on my system.
