Found this strange graphical bug, where a white mass is propagating over Earth.
- In free camera following Earth.
- Triggered when moving the camera away slowly from earth, at a certain distance.
- When moving the camera, white parts outside of the screen are cleared.
- When moving away from Earth, the bug stops (showed at 00:23).
- Sometimes it doesn't reproduce. At the end of the video, I'm unable to trigger it again. But trying for more time always succeed to reproduce.

Running on an NVidia RTX 3060Ti, drivers 566.36 or 591.44 (I updated drivers and reproduced), Windows 11 23H2, KSA 2025.12.10.3057.

I saw the same thing today.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060
Driver 580.95.05
Linux Mint 22 Cinnamon
Bottles Soda-9.0-1 dxvk-2.7.1-7-21eb344 win Ver Windows 10 ksa_v2025.12.10.3057

Seen on Debian Trixie
4060 Ti/16 GB
wine-10.16-staging-amd64-wow64-x86_64
setup_ksa_v2025.12.10.3057.exe

It is 100% related to the new atmospheric cloud lighting.
Set your FOV (Field of View) to the lowest (0°) in stead of the default 50°. Go into orbit of Earth, you will see a white dot at the center of the planet. That white dot is always there, it's just harder to see in the default 50° FOV.
It so happens that this bug with the white artifact that grows starts from that white dot, when the white dot "comes in contact" with the clouds.

Did it again today. Same manouver ( RCS lowering periapsis to skim atmosphere). Sorry I couldn't take a better picture, was trying to zoom out at same time.. Changed vessels and changed back and it was gone.

I have the same bug.

Reducing FoV and zooming out seem to reduce the likelihood of the bug appearing.

Setup:
KSA v2025.12.31.3103
Nvidia RTX 5080
Windows 11 Pro 25H2

Noticed this too, using 2025.12.31.3103. Seen it while burning retrograde over earth, with vessel relatively close to camera. Reproduced the bug at will four times in a row.

EDIT: I confirm this was fixed in v. 2025.12.33.3123.
