Hello and welcome to the forums!

You'll be pleased to know that we're planning on adding this. Right now, we use an additive increase / multiplicative decrease control algorithm for downloads, so if your network is congested then the client should aggressively back off to not fully saturate your internet connection.

Have you noticed any issues with the client degrading your connection doing other stuff during a download?

Im not having any serious issue but its a nice to have, im happy to hear you guys are working on it.

I came here for the same idea/question/interest... and no issue even using my hotspot on my phone for streaming thought it would be an issue but didnt see much of a drop.
