Changelog summary 8a8545a15

Fuel is messy now. Filling a can at a tank, slotting it into a generator, repairing a generator or the Huey hull, or leaving the Huey's fuel pump running with the engine off all put fuel on the floor, and anyone standing on enough of it can slip and go down. The Huey sounds beaten up once its hull is, bullets whiz past your head when a round goes through your tile, severed limbs can be surgically reattached, the corpsman carries a Coagulex pen for internal bleeding, and the HG 37-12 pump shotgun is gone from every map.

Fuel and oil

  • Filling a fuel can at a tank sometimes splashes a dose of fuel under you, and slotting a can into a portable generator does the same. Only cans splash, a welder, flamer tank or beaker never does
  • Every repair step on a damaged colony generator or the Huey hull can spill fuel under whoever is doing the repair, whether the step succeeds or fails
  • The Huey's fuel pump weeps a puddle under the exhaust while it's switched on with the engine stopped, so turn the pump off when you're parked or you'll be standing in it
  • Standing on a tile with enough oil or fuel on it gives you a 30 percent chance to slip and go down for 3 seconds every time you step onto it. Lying, buckled or carried people don't slip, and a burning tile can't slip you because the fire ate the fuel

Huey

  • A damaged Huey sounds damaged. A clattering engine loop fades in from hull damage level 3 and is at full by level 7, spools up and dies with the engine like the normal engine sound does

Combat

  • Bullets whiz past you. A round that flies through the 3x3 around you and keeps going plays a whiz-by at the point it passed closest, so you know you're being shot at before anything hits
  • Throwing at the deck above from a paged-up view works like shooting upward did. The throw rises through an open tile or hole and lands up there, and a dragged body thrown the same way goes up with it. Aim past the hole, a throw that stops on the open tile falls straight back down
  • The HG 37-12 pump shotgun is gone from the game and off every map (CAPE, LV376, LV759, LV976). The M37-17 stays where it was

Medical

  • Severed human arms, hands, legs and feet can be reattached in surgery. Each limb has its own op zone, so the limb you're holding has to be the right side, and the wounds it had when it came off come back with it. Heads don't come back, decapitation is still death
  • The corpsman carries a Coagulex autoinjector in the right pocket and uses it on anyone bleeding internally, downed or walking, waiting for the first dose to wear off before giving another

Fixes

  • Muzzle flashes show up for people shooting on a lower z-level you can see down to. You were getting their tracers with no flash
  • The [ and ] keys for cycling who you follow as a ghost do something now. They were bound but never switched on, only the NEXT and PREV chips worked
  • A xeno sabotage order given during a recall is carried out. The drone was treating the recall as a closed window and abandoning the job at its next think before it ever chewed anything
