Gentle folk,

Hi! I'm really not a gamer, but I am fascinated by astronomy and spaceflight. "Back in the day" I did a lot of testing and provided feedback during the development of the free 3D astronomical visualization program "Celestia". I've done some 3D modelling using "Anim8or". Also, I investigated but never did much with the spaceflight simulator "Orbiter". I'm hoping to enjoy my interactions with KSA. Unfortunately, my computer is relatively low-end, but I have hopes....

Welcome! If you’re having any difficulties getting it to run try loading with the lowest quality textures and then bump up from there. And if you have any problems or bugs you’re in the right place!

Thanks for the welcome! Unfortunately, KSA doesn't get far enough for me to specify texture resolutions. I've reported the problem in the Bugs sub-forum.

That is unfortunate! With all their communication before the launch it seemed like they were aware of some of these boot issues so hopefully now that it’s public they’ll put some focus on getting it to start consistently on a wider selection of devices. Here’s to hoping it’s not a long wait!
